Weishaupt WKG gas burners are used in industrial heating systems, steam boilers, hot water boilers, drying units and other heat engineering equipment. Compatible with heat generators that meet DIN 4702-1.

The industrial WKG line includes burners with standard, modernized and special mixing devices, 1-3 NOx emission classes (ZM, NR, 1LN, LN, 3LN), for working with cold and hot air, up to +25 °C and +250 °C (version H), for conventional and shortened (version SF) furnaces.

Features burner version ZMH-1LN

• The burner is adapted for high-temperature applications. The air temperature for combustion can reach +250 °C. For the efficient operation of an industrial boiler with high flue gas temperatures (from +300 °C), it is advisable to install a heat exchanger in the chimney to recover heat and further use the thermal energy in the working process. This allows increasing the efficiency by approximately +8-9%.
• High-temperature versions are equipped with a separate fan to cool the control unit and flame sensor, as well as an insulated housing that reduces the surface temperature to safe levels. An additional effect of using insulation material is minimizing the noise level (72 dB).
• The burner is equipped with a mixing unit of a special design for more complete and clean fuel combustion. Pressure losses, vibration levels and nitrogen oxide emissions have been reduced. The NOx emission class according to the European standard EN676 is the third.

Digital technologies to improve combustion efficiency

The Weishaupt WKG 50/1-B, DN 125, version ZMH-1LN gas burner, art: 27750565 operates in automated mode under the control of the W-FM combustion manager. The automation unit provides extensive configuration, user communication and remote device capabilities. Ensures the interconnection of systems and components, controls all important functions with digital accuracy. Reacts to failures and malfunctions by instantly blocking the burner.

Integrated ports allow connecting the burner to a personal computer to display data on the monitor, control and diagnose operation, as well as integrate it into centralized control systems. If necessary, a modem can be installed and data can be transmitted to a remote device via the Internet, telephone or mobile communication.

The functionality of the W-FM 100/200 combustion manager can be expanded by installing an oxygen control module, a power regulator for modulation mode and a frequency converter for the engine. Additional devices improve the quality of combustion, contribute to the most economical and efficient operation of the heat generator.

For input and control of entered parameters, the burner is equipped with a separate unit with a display, menu, multilingual (including Russian) text indication and a memory module.

Main operating parameters:

• gas types: natural (E/ LL), liquefied (B/ P) gas, special types of gas – on request;
• 2-stage power regulation with smooth adjustment of the load level;
• electronic modulation when equipped with a corresponding regulator (option);
• operation in intermittent and continuous mode.

Operating conditions

The Weishaupt WKG gas burner is suitable for operation only inside heated premises (condensation is not allowed). Not designed for outdoor use. Operating temperature range: -15…+40 °C, maximum humidity: 80%.
